Sometimes the absorption of a single photon or weak quantum can trigger the decay of a nuclear particle. The decays of muons, pions and neutrons can be modeled in this way.

$\Huge{ \sf{\pi} }$ Pion Decay
$\Huge{ \sf{n} }$ Neutron Decay
